Rahul Bhardwaj

I became interested in photography at a very young age. Growing up, my father owned a Minolta SLR camera that I used to mess around with while he wasn't at home; he was very protective of that camera. At the time, I didn't understand the technical aspect of photography, but I became interested in the artistic nature of visual imagery. Years later, I purchased my first camera, a Canon DSLR, and then learned more about the technical nature of the camera, while photographing family/friend events, which helped me get more comfortable behind the camera.

My passion for the visual arts was piqued even further when I started traveling, and wanted to document my experiences to share with friends and family. I wanted to create striking imagery that conveyed the sense of awe that I felt while being in foreign and exotic locations. Not only have I photographed in various places around the United States, I have been to over 15 countries and counting.

I currently reside in New York City, where I am constantly presented with opportunities to further develop and improve upon my work. I'm always interested in meeting and working with other creative individuals or businesses for headshots, promotional stills, product photography, and I'm also keen on traveling more to capture moments and memories all around the world.
